When will my items ship?
Items are shipped within 24 - 48 hours of receiving the order. Shipping times are between 5 -7 business days, if your order is placed on Friday, Saturday, Sunday, or holiday your order will be shipped on the next business day or the following Monday.
You’ll receive an email with the tracking information and any updates in regards to shipping. Due to Covid 19 and current events, please consider that there may be delays in shipping that are out of our control. We will do our best to ensure that your packages arrive in a timely fashion.
Do you ship to Canada?
Currently we only ship to the United States. Shipping prices are based on weight and zone and therefore prices may vary.
What should I do if my item is damaged in transit?
If your package arrives damaged, please email email@example.com immediately. We ask that you include photos of the shipping box and the damaged item(s) in your email, within 7 days of receiving damaged items.
Items that are damaged during shipping will be replaced ASAP at no cost to you. If the item is unable to be replaced, you will have the option of selecting a comparable item or a refund for the item.
Do you refund shipping costs?
Unfortunately, we are not responsible for any shipping charges incurred when returning a product(s). It is the customers responsibility to return the items to Soy Scentsational Candle Co.
Do you offer gift cards?
YES!! Soy Scentsational now offers digital gift cards which can only be purchased online at this time!
How will my gift card be delivered?
Gift cards are digital and delivered immediately after purchase via email and contain instructions to redeem them. The email address that you provide at checkout is where the gift card is sent. We do not have access to the gift card number or the ability to send the gift card to another email address. You can forward the email to someone else.
Can I use more than one discount code at a time?
No, we are only able to honor one discount code per order.
Do gift cards expire?
Customer purchased gift cards do not have an expiration date. Promotional gift cards issued by SOY SCENTSATIONAL CANDLE CO. may have an expiration date that will be communicated when issued.
Can I cash out or return a gift card?
No. Gift cards are not redeemable for cash and are non-refundable/returnable.
What happens if my gift card is lost or stolen?
Gift cards are not able to be replaced if lost, stolen, destroyed, or used without permission.
Do you offer physical gift cards?
No. Currently, we only offer digital gift cards.

What are the benefits of soy wax?
Soy wax is biodegradable and comes from a natural, renewable resource. Our soy wax comes from soybeans grown right here in the USA. Soy wax does not contain petrol-soot and will not emit toxins. Many of our customers have noticed that our soy candles do not give them headaches, leave black soot marks on their walls, and do not have a chemical smell like some candles made from or with paraffin.
Is your wax vegan?
SOY SCENTSATIONAL candles and melts are completely free of animal-derived substances and cruelty-free, making the soy wax we use vegan-friendly!!
Are your products compliant with California Prop-65?
Yes. Our candles and wax melts do not contain any of the toxins or materials that would require additional prop-65 labeling.
What is a phthalate?
There are many types and classifications of phthalates. The phthalates creating a concern for human health is typically used in plastic products. Phthalates used in fragrance oils, known as DEP (Diethyl Phthalate), are solvents used to extend the aromatic strength of the candle fragrance oil. DEP has been found to be non-toxic in skin products and candles if used at safe levels.

What are your wicks made of?
Soy Scentsational, uses wicks that are constructed from natural flat cotton threads interwoven with paper threads and are free of lead and zinc.
Why is my wick mushrooming?
At times you may notice build-up on the end of your wick, that closely resembles a mushroom. This is most often seen when the candle has been burning for an extended period of time. Trim this "mushroom" off of the wick before you light it again and be sure to dispose of the debris.

Why does my candle have two wicks but the picture shows three?
Due to material shortages and shipping issues stemming from covid 19, we had to makes some changes with the wicks, but no worries!! Your candle will still perform as well as it did with three wicks, we tested and tested to make sure you were receiving the same level of quality that you always have!!
My container is different than the container shown on the candle description, why is that?
Soy Scentsational uses a variety of candle vessels and they change frequently, sometimes with out notice. The images used are to give a uniform look and my not always represent the container or vessel that you’ll receive. Please kindly note that this may also be an issue due to covid 19 and product availability.
What is a fragrance note?
Fragrances are often referred to in the terms of top, middle and base notes. The way the notes cure, or bind together is what creates the scent profile.
Top notes are often what you smell first and give you an initial impression of a fragrance. This is often the lighter scent and most volatile, which means they tend to fade more quickly than the other notes.
Middle notes are the heart of the fragrance as it's what balances out the top and base notes. The middle notes are usually the most prominent aroma you will smell while the candle is burning.
Bottom or base notes are often what you will find lingering in the room once a candle has been extinguished. They are the lasting impression of a fragrance.

REFUNDS + EXCHANGES
Soy Scentsational carefully inspects all products before they are shipped. Due to the nature of our products, used candles, wax melts, or dough bowls can’t be returned or refunded. However, we will replace, or refund products damaged during shipment if photographic proof of damage is submitted to us within 7 days of delivery. Please submit proof of damage to firstname.lastname@example.org with DAMAGED DURING SHIPPING in the subject bar.
You may return your unused product within 14 days of purchase. The buyer is responsible for shipping cost on all return items, unless items were damaged in transport to you. We do not offer / accept exchanges at this time.
In the event the package is damaged during shipping you may return your unused candle(s), wax melts, dough bowls or warmers for a full refund of your purchase price, less shipping and handling within 14 days of delivery. Please contact us at email@example.com for further details.

Do you offer custom candles for party favors or corporate gifting?
Yes, we do have bulk rate custom options available. Please contact CONTACT US and include as many details as possible (ex. Quantity, colors, theme, time frame, text, images, occasion) about what you're looking to do.
We also offer custom memorial candles. You will receive updates and in regards to the progress that has been made, any changes that may or may not need to be made and all questions or concerns that require authorization to move forward.
Depending on the size and level of difficulty, customs orders require up to 90 days prior notice, in case of shipping delays, availability of materials, weather and other things that may be out of our control.
All custom orders MUST BE PAID IN FULL BEFORE ITEMS ARE CREATED and are NON-REFUNDABLE, NO EXCEPTIONS.
